COLOURS OF HOPE

COLOURS OF HOPE

whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4

Romans 15:4

Faith needs hope to exist , Faith and Hope are like siamese twins, you can’t separate one from the other because one needs the other.
Our tussle on the subject of Hope is that faith is easier but Hope is the most difficult one, This is because we got saved through faith in Jesus but the only thing that sustains us as believers is hope. Having come to salvation by faith , we must stay by hope. we are hope dealers. The believer doesn’t have a faith problem, How could he be a believer if he is not in faith. This explains that you are a believer because you got saved through faith in Christ Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection. Romans 8:24
We are going to continue to get sustained by hope, We live by hope.

The word of God administers hope,The word of God builds us with confidence. When you don’t have a good understanding of God’s word and what you’ve received through Christ, it becomes an avenue for the devil to attack because the devil begin to attack you from side where you don’t have a good understanding of but when you have more understanding of God’s word , you become fearless and you begin to develop confidence in God’s word knowing that devil got nothing on you.
The enemy’s strength is in people’s ignorance, Fear comes when there is absence of revelation.

Romans 15:4 explains the important of the word, it’s for us to grow in hope through patient and comfort.
When we got saved we were saved from sin and we got delivered from the grip of satan by faith Colossians 1:13. We have been saved by faith.
But after being saved , Some belivers still find their selves doing the wrong thing , this happens because their mind has not been renewed through the word of God that brings hope. The solution is staying with the word then the word will change the image on your inside, Stay with the word till you have a full understanding of what God has said about you. The word changes the picture of yourself because righteousness is stronger than sin. Stay with the word and increase in knowledge and understanding.
Romans 15:1-4
verse 1 explains that as believers we must help those who are weak the same way God helps us when we are weak. Verse 3 explains that Christ pleases not Himself. He is always there for us stretching His helping hands, waiting for us to call Him in. His help is always sufficient. Instead of whiling away time thinking about that situation, Just call Jesus in , He’s always there to help you. Stay with Him, Stay with the word. THIS IS YOUR HOPE.
