“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:9
Have you been looking for a sign to quit playing small and launch out on that God-given assignment? This is it!
There are a lot of people living lives in regrets, pain and sadness because they know they could have done more with their lives. As a ministry, we are not the only ministry God has called, but it took courage to answer that call and run this vision, if you have been a follower of this ministry, you will bear witness to the manner of challenges we have faced and overcome because of the courage of God we have held on to. I believe many times one of the reasons why people are not courageous is because of their image, their “rep”; they don’t want people to look at them as foolish, so they don’t try at all. Isn’t that funny? That actually is pride when you’re being led by God and you are more conscious of protecting your rep than following the voice of faith deep within your spirit. You must do away with that.
Don’t be tied back by past experiences, present challenges and future concerns that you limit what God want to do with you. There are things bigger than man’s human capacity to handle or take control of, that’s where trusting God comes in.
The Gospel we enjoy today was brought on the shoulders of courageous missionaries who despised all to get this message to many.
You have to be courageous; you have God’s Spirit on the inside of you.
In Acts 4:31 the disciples prayed and were filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
This was immediately after they had been threatened by the government not to share the Gospel any longer. In our world today, you will require the courage of God to stand in your school, workplace, community etc.
Let courage rise from within you and begin to see the invisible and do the impossible.
