Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

The frustration pent up in many believers can be attributed to this single point that they pray but don’t get results or answers to such prayers. Sadly, we have had some withdraw from church activities or affiliations because of this, if only they realised that they might have gotten something wrong. Many times we want to have them (our prayer requests) before we believe we have received them, however, the bible says, believe you have received them and you shall have them!

Confidence in prayer is an important part of our prayer, we must believe that the one we are praying to hears us and heeds us.

Matt.7.11 – If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Our God is a good father, he doesn’t look at us and just wants to play games with us before he answers, no he’s not like that!

Rom.8.32 – He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

This is enough proof! He was willing to give his Son even when we were undeserving, why would we allow the devil to perpetrate a lie that God would withhold his answers from us. We are Believers and we must be even in the face of challenges and prevailing circumstances.

God already provided all we will ever need, as we cooperate with the word, acknowledging the things we have freely received, we can lay hold of these promises in God and cause them to be manifest in our lives. When you pray, you must believe you have Received, Believe God’s word over the prevailing circumstances.
