As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 4:10

As believers, we all have things to offer to one another as a church, A lot of people think they should go to church just to receive from the pastor, You can also edify people around you.

According to Ephesians 4:11-12, We all have something to offer to edify one another. Always pay attention to the fact that you shouldn’t just be a receiver alone, People should be able to receive from you too.

Whatever you pay attention to will find expression in your life, as believers, the primary thing we have to pay attention to is the word of God. The most important thing to all believers is to stay with the word. Things that are seen are made from things that can’t be seen i.e everything exists first of all in the invisible. You’re what you think. So, it’s our responsibility to always see ourselves as givers too.

Another way not to become a receiver alone is joining the workforce of the church and having the interest of the church in mind always, Everyone in the church needs to come together to make everything go smoothly.

It is also our responsibility to see ourselves as preachers of the gospel in order to bring people to the knowledge of God’s word.

Romans 12:10-11 explained that we should love one another, not be slothful in business, fervent in spirit, and serving the Lord. This means we should work for the Lord with the whole of our hearts. You’re not just a receiver, be ready to give.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 made it clear that we’ve been called to do His work to profit every one around us( edifying of the saint)
