“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. –

Ephesians 2:10

We Need to do Good Works!!  Yes you may need to read that again and accept as against whatever it is you may have been informed with. For context, ” There are believers who stop at being saved and do not accept or go about living as they wish saying “their works don’t matter”!” That’s a skewed way to think.

Good works don’t get us saved but now that we are saved it’s expedient  of us to do Good Works as it is our nature. A Christian is not conditioned to live holy life, a Holy life is our default nature.

Christianity is not about behavioural modifications,  but in christainity there’s is behavioural modifications. That is, Transformation.

The power of our right living is not of ourselves but from looking to Christ. The world must truly know that we are of God because we must let our light shine before men so they must see our good works and God through us.

So good works is only recognised if it can be traced back to Christ because  pinpointing every of our doings back to Christ  always, brings us to the knowledge of our ideal self.

The Bible calls efforts and activities done without Christ as Dead works. We must therefore let the Spirit of God within us sponsor us to do Good Works and continually let our lives regulated by the word of God.

Our Good works are showcases of the Life of God at work within us, we don’t live as though we have no Authority over us,that will be living for ourselves and not for the one who loved us and gave himself for us.
