INTIMACY WITH THE SPIRIT
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.Galatians 5:25
How many of us would not take advantage of having access to a dignitary? If you had a celebrity you so much adore as a contact in your phone book and you could reach out to them at any time, wouldn’t you give preference to nurturing that relationship? You wouldn’t want to call anyhow, you will be intentional about that relationship, Goodnews! The Spirit of God desires a more intimate relationship with you.
This devotional is not curated to add to the number of daily devotionals all over the world, it’s to the purpose that our readers can have a vibrant intimate relationship with the HolySpirit. We spend time in prayers for our readers, we pray to share the right words that would inspire your devotion because we have realized a person who has an intimate relationship with the Spirit will reign in life, such one will not be confused or frustrated.
Walking in the Spirit is having intimacy with the Spirit, Rom.8.14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. When you grow in your intimacy with the spirit, you get more conversant with his dealings and operation. They are not alien or gibberish to you.
You are learning of his ways, hearing and obeying his voice and his leading, this is how you grow in intimacy with the Spirit. You must place a premium on your fellowship with the Spirit, its like that connection to a dignitary, that access to a celebrity.
1Thess.5.19 Do not quench the Spirit. (NKJV)- our Fervency in the Spirit is by giving attention to our fellowship with the Spirit.
We fellowship with the Spirit by Eph.5.18-19 – And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, – speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
