LIFE OF FAITH (2)

LIFE OF FAITH (2)

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The Just shall live by Faith”.

Romans 1:17

Faith must be part of our everyday living.

Let’s give a brief illustration: When you take ill, you go to a doctor who gives a prescription you can’t even read. You take that doctor’s prescription to a pharmacist with who you most likely have little or no relationship. He then gives you medicine which you know nothing about. However, you use that drug believing it would make the illness go away. That is living by faith! (Even without you knowing)

Faith is not only to believe but also to be lived. Our faith manifests in our daily life, decision making and even conduct. There’s nobody without faith! I mean nobody. A guy looks at a door and says I’m going to enter that office, and I’ll receive favour, he goes into the door and the rest is history. Another says I don’t want to enter because I don’t know what to expect. The two guys both have faith but their faith worked differently. One has faith in the success of whatever he does. The other has faith that his actions may not produce results. The real and simplest definition of faith is action. What you’re doing tells us what you believe. There is nothing ambiguous in faith, faith is action.

We are to engage in it practically. The word, by the writing of the Apostle Paul, exhorts us to live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Our Faith is not independent of our lives as believers.  The only time believers want to engage is faith is when we make a request from God, but that’s not God’s best for us, he will answer that request but He wants you to live by faith.

In Romans 4:3, Abraham believed God’s call, His promise, and plans. He did not act on his doubts. Faith is believing what God says even when we don’t see the whole picture. Faith is believing based on what we know of God, and not what we know of ourselves. I will say that again, Faith is believing what we Know of God not ourselves.

Thus, it is not enough to claim to believe, as you cannot claim to believe without acting out what you believe. You cannot claim you believe in God, and still not give that faith a corresponding action. Take a step of faith today and live out your faith practically!

CONFESSION: I DECLARE THAT MY FAITH IS WORKING AND PRODUCING RESULT. IN THE NAME OF JESUS, I KNOW WHAT I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GOD MY FATHER THAT WILL TRIGGER THE CONFIDENCE I NEED AND AS SUCH TAKE CERTAIN STEPS BASED ON THIS KNOWLEDGE OF HIM I’VE GOT. I PROPHECY THAT THIS WEEK AS I STUDY THE WORD THE HOLY GHOST STRATEGICALLY BRINGS ME IN CONTACT WITH TRUTHS ABOUT OUR HEAVENLY FATHER THAT WILL TRIGGER MY CONFIDENCE.

We unintentionally live by faith everyday without even knowing it, let’s be conscious in putting our faith into our daily lives so as to get use to God working with us in our everyday lives. Glory

Faith is action, noted👌. There’s no body without faith, faith is to be lived. Today my confidence is triggered, I constantly live in faith that will produce positive results. My faith is working and producing results… Hallelujah 🙌🏻🙌🏻.
