“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:”‬‬‬‬‬

Acts 2:22

Miracles as we know are supernatural acts or event that takes place which opposes and supersedes the natural laws here on earth for example Jesus turning water to wine without any additives or experimental procedure in John 2 :1-11 which defied the law of chemistry, also Jesus walking on water in John 6:16-24 which defied the law of gravity amongst others. God performs miracles for two basic reasons: to strengthen faith and to accomplish good. Often, miracles manifest God’s power to His children or teach a spiritual principle.

As we can see from our opening text that the life of Jesus basically was filled with miracles, signs and wonders meaning Jesus lived a life of miracles because wherever he went he was doing doing miracles according to Acts 10:38 – “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Also from our opening text we see that miracles are a way to show a man approved of God and we know that a true believer is indeed a man approved by God and we must lead lives of miraculous experiences.

As we all know that even in this modern present day time innovations and achievements in certain areas there is still the need for miracles because there are a lot of things that even science cannot explain,do or solve because they are subject to natural laws that miracles are not subject to, as a believer one of our major advantages here on earth is a life of miracle because Jesus said in John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” The good news for us is we have been equipped by the the ever present spirit of God in us,the Holyghost to do even greater works than Jesus did, it’s suffice to say that if Jesus lived a miraculous life,we are going to live a more miraculous life.

One of the major ways to living in miracles is believing and being confident in Christ Jesus and in believing becoming partakers of the mightiness of God that births miracles just as Hebrew 3:14  “For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;” we can see even in the life of the apostles how that they lived a miraculous life, in the life of peter in Acts 5:15 “Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.”and also Apostle Paul in Acts 19:12 “so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

As a believer a major sign of the life of the Christ is living in miracles and showing forth this miracles in our day to day activities just as our Lord Jesus lived his life and we have also been commended to live our lives and all that is required is to believe and be confident that you have been given a life of miracles.
