LIVING VICTORIOUS

LIVING VICTORIOUS

Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Romans 8:37

To the natural man being victorious means being a winner or being successful or acquiring all the wealth of this world but to a believer, his victory is first and foremost spiritual; in that through the redemptive work of Christ and by identification with Him, the believer begins to see and have a mentality of victory. You must recognise that the world is a fallen one and failure, defeat, pain is part of it, however, in Christ, we come under a different identity and can therefore exercise authority over these things.

Jesus conquered death through raising the dead and His resurrection, He conquered sickness through healing the sick, He conquered sin too.  Through salvation, He gave us His kind of life, so we may live the kind of life He lived(victorious life), He gave us His Spirit, so everyone who is born again has a new habitat where he/she belongs which is the realm of the spirit. He gave us the power to tread on snakes and scorpions luke 10:19.

As believers we must be conscious of what we’ve received through Christ Jesus, that all Jesus did in His redemptive sacrifice, we are the beneficiaries thereof, so when situations come at us we won’t be fearful because we know that we’ve been made victorious in Christ. As God’s children, we can make everything work together for our good through faith-filled words and this faith comes by hearing and dwelling in the word.

Living victoriously is God’s desire for us, we cannot be subjected to sin, sickness, failure, defeat or death because through Christ we got victory over them all. As we exercise our authority in Christ, we cause situations and challenges to conform to God’s word.

We must grow in His word day by day, we must allow the word to be on our lips, confessing our victory in Christ.

In conclusion, God loves us so much that he gave us everything we need to live a victorious life. Glory to God.
