LOOKING UNTO JESUS

LOOKING UNTO JESUS

Unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

Jesus died for us to be saved, and as believers, we must know the meaning of Salvation. A lot of believers don’t know what they’ve received through salvation, Most believers are deep in things that don’t count (things that are not of any advantage to them) compared to things that truly count. Some believers don’t know how powerful they are in Christ and what they’ve received in Him. THE DEVIL’S GREATEST WEAPON IS THE IGNORANCE OF A PERSON.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 the word “instruction” in verse 16 is paedia which means to nurture or to bring up, scriptures are important in building a believer. (The gospel that saves also nurtures).
The right knowledge of God’s word makes us have an understanding of God’s finished work. A believer shouldn’t be shallow when it comes to the knowledge of God and what he has received through salvation.
The things about salvation that we know, Angel seems to look into it.
Blood was shed on this matter of salvation and you think it doesn’t matter?

Genesis 3:6 Eve believed the devil, She saw that fruit was good for food. Before we can do something, it means our mind has believed in that act and this explains that we do what we believe. We are perfectly imperfect people, we’re just justified by grace.
The way to stop sinning Is to Know that God has forgiven all your sin.

Numbers 21:6-9(AMP) When the Israelites were in the wilderness, Snakes bit the people and Moses asked God what he could do to save the people from the snakes then God told Moses this
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten will live when he looks at it.”
Hebrews 12:1-2(AMP) Verse 2 of this verse says we should set our eyes on Jesus( the same way the children of Israel set their eyes on the snake on the pole), The author And finisher of our faith which means even when situations come our way, our gaze is on the finished work of Christ. Even when there is a storm, our gaze is on what God has said about us.

1 Corinthians 15:55-56(AMP)
Verse 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin [by which it brings death] is the law;
This verse explains that the law cannot cure sin because the law finds a fault but can’t save, the only cure to sin is the finished work of Christ( salvation).
According to what God told Moses, The snake on the pole represents the cross(salvation), and the people with the sting of the other snakes represent people dealing with sin, bad habits and so on. This means when we keep focusing on the law that just finds faults,(the same way the people were, first of all, focusing on the pain they were going through) Sin can’t be conquered but when we keep our gaze on what God has said about us and His work, it becomes easy to do away with sinful acts.
God calls us His own
WE’RE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. Gloreeey 💃💃💃

Be grateful for the finished work of Christ!!!!
