NEW CREATION REALITIES (2)
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2 Corinthians 5:17
From God’s perspective, you are now a new self, a new being, and a new person in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – NKJV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
While many people around you may still see you or deal with you as the same old person, God will never again deal with you or relate with you according to your former sinful, selfish, corrupt, and rebellious self. It is crucial for you as a born-again believer to begin to see, think, live, walk or operate in this world as a new creation from the point you experienced the new birth. This is the only way to live a triumphant, overcoming, and prosperous Christian life in this world.
In the first part of this topic, we examined who the new creation is and what He has in Christ. We would continue to explore those realities in today’s article
The new creation is irrevocably or eternally blessed: The old man or being was a transgressor of God’s law and thus operated under the curse of the law. But the new being or creation is a saint, having been justified and washed in the blood of the Lamb of God.
The new creation is “the righteousness of God in Christ.” (2 Cor. 5:21).
Therefore, he is not under any curse (Gal. 3:12-14). But he is blessed with the blessings of Abraham (Gal. 3:9). The new creation is a joint heir of God’s blessing with Christ (Rom. 8:17). Having become one with Christ through the new birth, “you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (Gal. 4:7). As a new creation, you are irrevocably blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ (Eph. 1:3, 2 Pet. 1:2-3).
This is why Paul writes, “Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours.” (1 Cor. 3:21 NKJV).
All that God has is now yours in Christ. Hallelujah!
The new creation wields unlimited spiritual power and authority: The new creation is no longer a slave or captive of Sin and Satan, but a king and a priest unto God (Rev. 5:9-10, Eph. 2:4-7).
Ephesians 1:21 shows your position in Christ, “Because of your spiritual union with Christ, you are presently seated with Christ in the heavenly places, “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”
The spiritual power or authority of the new creation is not of lesser potency to that of Christ. You carry one and the same power that raised Christ from the dead. All that he has he has given to you! Glory to God.
As a new creation, you do not need to seek or search for God anywhere because he now lives in you. You carry God. Wherever you are, God is there. You can fellowship or communicate with him anywhere and anytime. You did not become saved by works, so your actions will not keep you saved, you are eternally saved, loved and forgiven. Is this a license to do as you like? No. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. [Philippians 2:13]
And … “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 1:6)
These are your realities, walk in it!

CONFESSION: SAY THIS OUT LOUD – GOD LIVES INSIDE OF ME, I’M BORN OF GOD, I’M A NEW CREATION. AS THE FATHER IS, SO AM I. HE IS RIGHTEOUS SO AM I. HE IS LOVING SO AM I. MY REALITIES HAVE CHANGED NOW THAT I’M IN CHRIST. I’M NO LONGER JUST AN ORDINARY MAN, I AM SUPERNATURAL. I’M GREATER THAN THIS LIFE, FOR I HAVE THE REAL-LIFE INSIDE ME. GREATER THAN THE DEVIL, GREATER THAN POVERTY OR FAILURE. HALLELUJAH.
