Prayer is something that every religion seems to have in common, but what is it that makes that ours is different and effective? The believer prays with the consciousness that he’s not just praying to the Judge of the world but he’s praying to a Father!
Look at what Jesus said to his disciples when teaching them about prayer in Luke 11:2
“So he said to them, “when you pray, say: Our FATHER in heaven, hallowed be Your name…”
God is Father to us, and so prayer to us isn’t something we do to fulfil a religious practice or requirement, but rather to commune with our Father. Prayer is an opportunity to share fellowship with divinity.
We know there’s power made available when we pray. The Bible says, “our prayers avail much!” That’s amazing.
1 John 5:14-15
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we asked of Him.”
You should pray better just Knowing, that the creator and master of the universe, hear you when you pray to him. That’s encouraging to pray!

CONFESSION: I THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOU ALWAYS HEAR ME. FROM NOW ONWARD, I AM CONSCIOUS THAT MY PRAYER WHEN UTTERED WHOLEHEARTEDLY, MAKES TREMENDOUS POWER AVAILABLE. EVEN AS I PRAY NOW, I MAKE TREMENDOUS POWER AVAILABLE, I AM BUILT UP LIKE AN EDIFICE, RECHARGED LIKE A BATTERY. HALLELUJAH.
