For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.Gal.5.13
There are certain statements creeping into the body that are unscriptural and even Anti-Christ! Such as “I don’t need a church or a pastor” “the era of physical Church is gone” and “Serving God is not only in church but also to humanity “
People who talk like this have unfounded knowledge, do you know the impact of the church on civilisation? The concept of schools, hospitals, orphanages, and even football clubs was Christain instituted to help humanity and impact societies. We are the last set of people that should be talked against when it comes to social responsibility, if at all we should be included. Don’t be deceived, Churches are doing more to better the societies than governments, and this is not even including our place and work as watchmen and Priests.
It’s the “Service mentality” that has propelled us to do the things we do even with all the backlash that it comes with, we want to serve one another in love.
You are a part of that body, trying to go independent is going rogue. You are going against scripture Heb.10.25 – not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
The Church is God’s idea, Serving in a local church is God’s idea, it does come with its own baggage but if we all walk in love, we’ll see the kingdom advance. Rom.14.19 – Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
This is where we give our attention as we serve in the body, some people are so fond of picking out faults, “oh the worship wasn’t so great, the sermon was great but too long, the ushers looked too flashy, the sound urghh” picking faults with everyone and everything, you can’t serve faithfully doing that.
You must submit yourselves to authority, be accountable, serve diligently, and magnify the place the Lord has placed you.
1Cor.4.1-2 – Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
You have a place in the body and your service is important but not indispensable, do it as unto the Lord.

Confession: I am a faithful steward, I serve diligently, placing the need of the body above own serving in love.
