I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

This statement is not so popular as it ought to be, look believers ought to live with this mindset, this must characterise our daily walk and living. Being “Sold Out” to God is recognising you were bought by him, this is not a manipulative statement, its a revelation of the love with which God loved us that he died for us even while we were yet sinners. What A Trust!

We must therefore subscribe to 1Cor.6.20 – For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. This scripture has to be rooted in our hearts.

If you must follow God, you must possess a single minded desire and complete devotion to him. Loving him above everything else in this world. Look at what Jesus said in Mark 8:34

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

This simply means that anyone who will follow Jesus Christ must deny himself by refusing to satisfy personal interest or desires. You are expected to deny yourself of personal interest and desires that are in conflict with The word of God or the ways of His kingdom.

God’s will must have priority above all other interests in your life, and His word should be your yardstick for measuring what is right or wrong.

You must fully identify with Christ and be fully yielded to his will. When you give your life to Christ, your priority changes, your ambition becomes fulfilling God’s purpose.

Philippians 1:21

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

The purpose of a believer is to live for the fame of his name. Becoming obsessed with the pursuit of something so selfless, and in there lies true fulfillment.

Paul could confidently say that he had finished his course in 2 Timothy 4: 7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith

When a man lives a life that is completely sold out to God and his purpose, such man lives a life that has no regrets. And like Paul would be able to say I have finished my course.

CONFESSION: Jesus is Lord of my Life, Thank you for paying the price to make me your own, I live my Life for him, sold out to his plan and program for me.
