THESE ARE GLORY DAYS
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of our God and of His Christ and they shall reign forever and ever”Revelations 11:15
The church is a part of the Christ who had been prophesied about that He will reign over the earth. He is the head, we are His body. If He is reigning, we as His body are definitely taking part in that. So this end of days prophecy about the reigning Christ is a pointer to also tell the church, we the body of believers, what the prophetic agenda of God is for His people.
So this changes our perspective about the end-time from just being one period of full of horror scenes (and I hope you know we’re already living in those days) to a time where the Christ and His church will also begin to rehearse the eventual millennial reign. This should make us happy, we are living in glory days!
You see precious saints, our insight into the things of God, into His plans and purposes per time is very important. For example, Daniel while in Babylon understood from the book of Jeremiah how long their captivity should last and so upon finding out and doing the calculation, realizing that the estimated time of bondage has passed he began to contend. What I’m saying is if we don’t know what God’s plan is and what it covers, especially for each season, we stand a chance of succumbing to defeat even when God has made a different arrangement for us as believers.
By searching prophetically, they knew where the Messiah ought to be born. You see what I’m saying? In Matthew 2:4 Herod asked the astrologers because some wisemen had seen a sign in the cloud could discern what time it is and what the sign of the time depicted. This is part of the ways God has designed for us to live. He desires for us to be able to discern His workings on the earth per time and then latch on to it.
Let me share with you another verse to show that we’re in the glory days.1 Corinthians 15:24-25 “Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and authority and power, for He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet”. Did you see that? The bible speaking says at the end of all thigs Jesus will deliver up the world He has conquered and reclaimed having vitally dethroned all power, all rule, all authority, basically every thing that’s not submitted to God’s governance yet, but then The bible now says “HE MUST REIGN TILL…” that means from now till the end when the kingdom will be submitted back to the Father, the Christ and His church must continue to reign! Hallelujah, reign over sickness, over sin, over poverty and lack. Reign! Glory to Jesus. This is exciting.
