“but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”

Hebrews 1:2‬

God spoke to nothing and it became something. God spoke to the men of the past through the prophets.God spoke to us through Jesus Christ and God is still speaking to us through the Holy Spirit. You can hardly separate a man from his words. Every word God has spoken is one with intentionality and purpose. The bible says His word would not return void!

We must therefore take advantage of this knowing that God wants to speak to us and through us, yes! Through Us!

Many of us are still waiting for the heavens to open to hear God, albeit your proof of faith begins with esteeming God’s word as him speaks to you, you want to hear God? Get into the word!

The Bible is God’s word written to us, its God speaking to us in every situation,  you must begin to give it priority and reverence. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”-2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV)

We also have the Spirit of God indwelling in the life of the believer,  he is always speaking to us leading us. Rom.8.14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. The Holy Spirit desires to lead us even more than we desire to be Led of him.

The Spirit speaks to us through God’s word, by inward witness, by an audible voice as well.

God also speaks to us through His Anointed. This places a premium on being part of a local church, the first sign you lack reverence for God’s word is philandering around seeking ” word” from any one at all. You must be discerning and honour the anointed, believing that God speaks to you through him. We have testimonies of this where members of the church got their answers just by the sermon of the anointed not even a specific word to them in particular.

Your estimate of God’s word and how much it can result in your life will reflect in your life, we must therefore give earnest heed to the word of God, through the word, by the Spirit and through God’s anointed.

Since God speaks to us in these ways,we must stay in the word and stay in step with the spirit so we can listen .
