YOUNG AND YIELDED
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;Ecclesiastes 12:1
Bible says that the glory of the youth is in his strength, so why do you think you’re too young to do big things? You are not too young, at 12, Jesus was teaching in the temple. Samuel was also 12 years old when God called him.
Nowadays, people associate youthfulness with exuberance, but that’s not what the Bible says about you. Bible says you should not let any man despise your youth.
When you’re young is the best time to start to love God and be passionate about the things of God. Physically, you have more strength, you have lesser responsibilities. Jesus said suffer the little children to come unto me. So we can be sure he needs you regardless of how young you might think you are.
You can’t be young twice. The devil knows this very well and that is why he is catching human beings in their youth. He knows that if he can catch them young, he’ll be able to disciple them for evil thereby frustrating the purpose of God for their lives. But God has His own plan for youths. He knows that the most potent stage of a person’s life is his or her youth and God wants to give everyone a vision to be pursued in life.
Maximize your youth, Love the Lord with devotion; follow him and his purpose for your life, Offer yourself in entirety to God as a living and holy sacrifice Romans 12:1. You must be completely sold out to God and Sing to the Lord, adore him. “…She shall sing there as in the days of her youth…” (Hos 2:15 NKJV).
Be completely yielded to the ministry of the Word, and through study and meditation, the Word mingles with your spirit, producing in you the message it carries. You respond to situations and circumstances from the standpoint of the Word. Therefore, you live victoriously every day.
